Health and Safety​

• Our sessions are suitable for children 6 months (and sitting unaided) to 4 years of age. 

• Parent or carer accepts full responsibility for their child/ren who must be supervised at all times.

• Should you be required to leave messy play area for any reason please take your child/ren with you ensure they remain in your care.

• All materials are made with the knowledge they will be played with under constant supervision of a parent or carer.​

• All messy products are non-toxic however products provided are NOT intended to be eaten.

• We do not use eggs, dairy, soy or nuts in any of our sessions. However, some products have allergy warning labels that state "may contain traces of" these products. 

Please advise of any food allergies at time of booking and contact us directly to ensure our session is suitable for your little one. We can be contacted via social media or e-mail at admin@messymatperth.com.au

• The messy play floor may become slippery. Please take caution and walk slowly around the stations to minimise the risk of slips, trips or falls.

• We STRONGLY recommend dressing your child and yourself in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or possibly stained. We take no responsibility or liability for any belongings (including clothes) that are stained, marked or damaged.

• Please refrain from attending sessions if you or your child has been unwell within 48hrs of the session date.

• Due to the nature of how heat affects our trays and tarps, an undercover area for private parties must be provided.

Attendance and photo consent

• Please show your entrance QR Code from your e-mail on arrival to your booked session.

• Each ticket purchased includes entry for ONE child and ONE supervising adult. Please purchase an additional ticket for any additional attendees.

• Messy Mat Perth takes no responsibility should you not attend the session at the correct time or should you be unable to attend.

• Due to hire charges and material costs, payment is non refundable and non transferable. We do not offer session swaps or refunds on any ticket purchased. However, you are welcome to sell your tickets on in order to recoup your money. 

• Photos and video clips will be taken during messy play sessions and may be used for website, social media and marketing.

• If you do not wish to have photos taken of yourself or your child please state this on your booking form and advise one of our Messy play assistants. Please note, for your comfort and peace of mind we will always ask for permission at the session prior to taking photos.

Payment

• Payment is required at time of booking and is inclusive of GST

• Payment includes credit card charges where applicable 

• Please note all parties and incursions are to be paid in full within 7 days of the event date.

• Full payment of parties and incursions is non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days

• We do not offer session swaps or refunds on any tickets purchased, however you are welcome to sell your tickets on in order to recoup your money.

Gift Cards and Vouchers/Coupons

• Should you have questions in regards to gift cards or face any difficulties please e-mail us at accounts@messymatperth.com.au to discuss prior to booking your session, please note we do not provide refunds ​in exchange for a coupon code not being utilised. 

• Should your voucher be for multiple tickets, please use your coupon code multiple times until limit is reached.

• Gift cards can be utilised for sessions, however are not redeemable for products or store items.

Cancellation of public sessions

Messy Mat Perth may have to cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. All participants will be contacted and a gift voucher will be provided, which will be valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation.

COVID-19 

Should you have come in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19 in the past 14 days please refrain from attending our sessions. Should you contract COVID-19 or are a close contact and are unable to attend the session you are more than welcome to onsell your ticket to recoup the cost. We do not provide session swaps or refunds.
